When I receive your order I will contact you within 48 hours to confirm and to schedule a time slot for work to begin.
2) PAYMENT - A 50% deposit is required to secure your time slot in my customer queue and for work to begin. Upon confirmation of your order I will send a separate payment request through PayPal. You will have the option of paying with a credit card securely through PayPal, or to send a check or money order.
Final payment will be due prior to shipping the completed artwork. A final payment request will be emailed at that time.
3) Take pictures of your pet[s]. IMPORTANT!!: see Photographing Pets first for tips.
4) Send high resolution JPG images to petimages@christinewoodsart.com, or film printsto the address above. (Send copies only - do not send irreplaceable original prints! Prints will not be returned, as most likely I will get paint on them!)
5) When
I receive the photos, I will draw up a preliminary layout and then contact you for further discussion and approval before moving on to the painting process. (Please go to General Info and scroll down to Painting Process to read further about how you will be involved in the process).
SHIPPING
I
will securely pack your portrait flat. Your shipping cost will be the
actual standard USPS cost, packing material, and insurance, added to the final bill which I will email you. You will
receive a tracking number. If you prefer another method of shipping, just let me know.
You may also arrange to pick up the finished portrait if you will be in the vicinity of Hudson, NY.
